Nik’s worked in digital for over 15 years, starting out as a web developer and developing a passion for all things marketing. His love for UX and CRO combines years of experience in working with websites – from design and build to driving traffic through SEO.
What really drives Nik is the psychology element of UX – predicting how users will interact with elements on the page, discovering what ‘makes’ a conversion and the application of ‘accepted concepts’ in place of breaking the mould.
Working with brands like Fastsigns, Accurist, Miller Homes and Swift Direct Blinds, Nik has been instrumental in generating millions of pounds in revenue through improved site architecture, UX audits and CRO testing. Nik has been a regular face in Digital Ethos’ series of webinars including the principles of great UX and has given talks at De Montfort University in Leicester on Digital Marketing.
His focus as Head of Technical now bridges the gap between the company’s web development and marketing teams, ensuring great user experiences lead to conversions – for new and existing clients.
Also worked at a PR agency for 3 years, a DJ for 21 years across the country and to audiences of 8k+, Studied media at college and made two short films, ran a radio station and have a love for semiotics (the study of symbols) which lead Nik to become a freemason (now in my 2nd degree).
